Helical (Screw) Piles

Engineered steel piles turned into bearing soil — supplied on their own, or supplied and installed by our crews.

A helical pile is a steel shaft with one or more helix plates, driven by hydraulic torque until it reaches the required bearing capacity. Torque is monitored during installation, so capacity is verified as the pile goes in rather than assumed afterwards.

There is no excavation spoil to haul away and no curing delay — the foundation can be loaded the same day, which is why they suit shops, garages, decks, additions and insulated grade beams particularly well.

  • Installed capacity verified by torque, not assumption
  • No excavation spoil and no concrete cure time
  • Works in tight sites and beside existing structures
  • Year-round installation window
  • Supply-only or full installation by our crews
  • Integrates with insulated grade beam foundations
